3. I stopped by the site last night and found the sidebar had been edited to add tons of commercial links. I rolled it back to the previous (correct) edit, but I wonder how to prevent this in the future. I assume it was some automatic process, wonder if there's a solution. On the other hand, may not be something to worry about unless it happens consistenly.

2. Eric, is there a way we can post general group messages on the site? For instance, meeting times and locations? -Victor
meeting time and location might be appropriate on the front page, that way if it changes, it's the first thing you notice. -

1. Why dont's the Wiki Words in the "Recent Changes" section link to people?
good question. I don't know yet- I'll poke around and try to figure it out. --

Hey Eric, when I edit the recent changes page, it looks like the edited by assume the author's wiki page will be in a "profiles" directory.
Documentation found here:
http://www.ericrosenbaum.com/subversivebrunch/wiki.php?pagename=PmWiki.AuthorTracking
Indicates that:
Within the
RecentChanges? pages, author names become links to "profile pages" where authors can store information about themselves. By default these pages are stored in the "Profiles/"
WikiGroup?, but this can be changed by a site administrator to be a different group by setting the
$AuthorGroup variable in config.php.
Okay, this is fixed now- from now on, the name you put in as author when making changes can link to your personal wiki page. Existing links in
RecentChanges stay broken, though.
